For any client requiring confidentiality, Translume will agree to put a non-disclosure agreement in place to ensure intellectual property protection for both parties. Translume retains ownership of the intellectual property related to its proprietary glass micromachining processes.

Price Range and Minimum Charges

Pricing of modifications to Translume Microfluidic Chips is determined on a case-by-case basis. Costs of modifying chips typically run from $100 up to $1,000. Prototypes of completely custom microfluidic chips typically run from $1,000 to $3,000. For contract manufacturing and prototyping of glass microstructures for aerospace and industrial applications, there is typically a minimum charge of $2,500.
