Translume's capabilities yield densely-packed opto-fluidic systems in a robust single-element glass monolith, which is ideal for harsh environment applications requiring small size and high durability. Translume is currently road testing its SootSmart sensor, for real-time monitoring of soot agglomeration in engine oil. Other sensors will be available soon.
