The process accuracy is on the order of 20 micron or better. This glass micromachining capability can be combined with our other processes to create unique devices.
In fact, Translume now has the unique capability to make MEMS devices and other micromechanical structures from glass, composed of flexible moving parts. As an example, the company is now developing a microstage-based sensor for FTNIR spectroscopy.
